Placing Orders

 

When will payment for my order be taken? 

Payment via debit or credit card will be taken upon checkout and balances will reflect within one hour as banks will carry out various security checks to ensure your order is not linked to any fraud activity. This payment will be applied for all orders received including in stock items and will also apply for all pre-order items to ensure numbers and to reduce the number of cancellations. Payments via PayPal for all orders (both released and pre-order titles) will be taken within 2 hours of your order being confirmed. 

 

What If the card used for payment is declined

The most common cause of a card being declined is that the billing address details used on your order do not match either your registered card address or your delivery address so please check this carefully on checkout. 

 

Payments using existing card details 

If you have successfully made a payment via our credit/debit card gateway you will be able to reuse these card details on your next transaction by clicking ‘Use this card’. If you wish to use a different card you will simply need to click the ‘New card’ button on the payment page. Note: We do NOT store ANY credit/debit card details on our system for security reasons. 

 

Telephone orders 

We are unable to take orders over the phone, therefore all orders should be placed via the website. 

 

Does my pre-order come with any extras or downloadable content (DLC)? 

Some Pre-order titles come with extras or downloadable content (DLC). We always update the product description and title to reflect this where applicable. If we do not mention any extra downloadable content in the product description, then the stock that we are pre-selling does not come with the extra downloadable content. Please note that allocations are on a first come first served basis and any extras or DLC might not be guaranteed with your product. Does my order come with tracking details? 

Orders sent via DPD & Royal Mail 24 tracked do come with tracking. This tracking is used to confirm delivery only and will not track the full process of the delivery.  Orders send via DPD will have to be signed for upon delivery (during Covid-19 DPD drivers have been taking a name and a photo of the delivered item at the door). 

 

Does my order have to be delivered to my billing address? 

Your first order must be delivered to the billing address (i.e., the address where your credit/debit card is registered). Following a successful delivery of your first order, you can update the delivery address within the checkout when placing subsequent orders.

 

Can I amend my order?

Once payment has been taken, an order cannot be amended, only cancelled. See "How can I cancel my order" below:

 

How can I cancel my order? 

Orders can be cancelled up until the point of dispatch. To cancel an order, you will simply need to login to your account area and click on ‘Outstanding orders’ to the left-hand side of the screen. You will then see an option to cancel the order.

 

I have cancelled my order. When will I get my money back?

Once an order has been successfully cancelled, funds will usually appear back to the payment method used for the order within 3-5 working days. 

 

My order has shipped, can I still cancel? 

Once your order has been marked as shipped it will need to be sent back to us as a standard return. Please see returns and refunds FAQ below.

 

My order has not arrived

In the unlikely event that delivery is not made within this time frame, DPD & Royal Mail require 10 working days to pass before we can investigate any delays with them. Please allow 10 working days before contacting us regarding non delivery. 

 

 

Returns & Refunds

 

 

Can I return my order? 

Unopened games/consoles/accessories and TCG products can be returned for any reason within 14 days of receiving your order. You will be responsible for return postage costs and ensuring the item reaches us in the same condition it was received. Please note that if the item returned does not satisfy these requirements, we reserve the right to refuse the return.

We cannot accept returns for opened TCG products like Pokémon TCG, Code Cards, Gift Cards, and similar items with a printed, single-use, redeemable code. These are not eligible for returns.

To ensure items make it back to us safely we strongly recommend using a recorded service to return items. We are not responsible for any items lost in the post or damaged via the return postage.

Any recieved items that are damaged or missing must be reported to us within 24 hours of receipt of your order.

My item(s) appear to be faulty, what do I do? 

Faulty items need to be reported to us within 28 days of receipt for a full refund or replacement. Items deemed to be operationally sound (or faulty as a result of any form of misuse) will not be approved for refund or replacement. Faulty Consoles need to be returned to us in their original boxes with matching serial numbers and including all original box contents (Power adaptor, HDMI lead, controller etc). If the goods arrive damaged 

If your goods arrive damaged, you will need to get in touch within 24 Hours of receipt of the items to receive either a replacement or a refund. Please take as many photos as possible of the box your order arrived in, which clearly shows the shipping label, along with photos of the damage to the item then email us at sales@nerdmania.co.uk with the photos. Please note that in the case of blind packed products like TCG booster packs, we will only be able to replace the booster pack as being faulty (the product purchased) and not the individual cards inside.

 

If the order arrives incomplete 

If your order arrives and one or more items are missing, then you need to contact us to let us know within 24 working hours of receiving the order. We can then investigate this issue with our warehouse and the delivery courier immediately for you. Please contact us on email at sales@nerdmania.co.uk stating your order number. 

 

I have returned my order, when do I get my refund? 

Returned orders will be refunded in full minus any additional shipping charges within 48 hours. The money will then usually show back into your account within 3-5 working days.
